God Behaving Badly?
Four secrets, one truth.
Saturday June 15, 2013, 6:45 PM
It's the question so many of us ask. How could a good God let bad things happen? But are we ready for the answer?
God Behaving Badly is the story of three friends who still wish they were four. After Justine's tragic accident, Roslind, Fay and Chase still meet up every few months for their regular sushi dinner. But each find themselves in trouble and unable to be truthful about it. Justine was the one they used to confide in.
Now what do they do to make sense of their pains? Is their good God "behaving badly" by letting all these bad things happen? And who is that little boy they keep pushing out of their minds?
Jehovah Shalom praises God in song at various Thistletown Baptist Church Sunday morning services. On Youth Sundays (usually the last Sunday of every month), we sing and play special pieces and lead worship music for services. We also usually lead worship music on the second Sunday service of every month.
Praise & Serve Services are special worship events. Here, we sing songs to the Lord while having an opportunity to donate what we can to help others and make a difference. It is a unique time for people to praise God in song and serve others to show His love.
We sometimes visit other churches to share our music. In the past, we have had the opportunity to worship with several churches in the Greater Toronto Area, including Richview Baptist Church, Kipling Avenue Baptist Church, Wilmar Heights Baptist Church, Kingsview Free Methodist Church and Faith Baptist Church. In 2007, we participated in leading worship music for the Toronto Spiritual Life Convention at The People's Church.
